GENERAL INFORMATION
Calendar:
Sign-ups take place in May and (maybe) June. Teams are formed in July.
Registration
August:
All coaches may
start practicing with their teams as of August 1st.
Season:
September, October, and November. The second Saturday of September starts
the beginning of the official game season and will be played thru November.
When: All games are played on Saturdays. Your child will
play one game per Saturday, the game may start at 9am or 3pm. Please check your schedule.
Where:
Rio Linda Region 1111 home games will be played at 10th
and G Street, (Hayer Park). The fields are located behind the Rio
Linda Junior High and Senior High Schools.
Travel:
The Under-6 (U6) Under-8 (U8) and Under
10 (U10) Divisions do not travel!
If
your child is in U12, U14, or U19, he or she will have home and away
games. These teams may play in Antelope, Capay also known as Esparto, Davis,
and Winters.

Schedules:
All coaches will receive their schedules in August.
Make sure:
Your
child must have shin guards at all games and practices!
Your
child wears soccer cleats! (not baseball cleats)
Your
child brings their own water to games and practices!
Your
child brings their ball to practice! (do not bring ball to games)
You
do not drop your child off at games or practices!
MOST
IMPORTANTLY- MAKE SURE YOU AND YOUR CHILD SHOW UP WITH A GOOD ATTITUDE THAT
MAKES FOR GOOD MEMORIES
Who
are we: We are Mom’s, Dad’s, Uncle’s, Aunt’s,
Grandparents, with full time work and everyday lives, in addition to our
volunteer positions. Rio Linda AYSO
was started in 1996, we have continued with a handful of volunteers who have
stepped up to keep the league going. Some
of the volunteers have been here although their children no longer play with
this league. We appreciate and need
their dedication and look for more dedicated parents to help keep the league
going. If you have time on your
hands and enjoy the sport of soccer and would like to be a part of something
special, become a volunteer.
